Canadian University and College Language Pathway – Beginner Level is a course designed to continue the development of basic literacy skills to enable students to function more effectively in personal, work and educational situations. Skill areas covered include reading, writing, and strategies for communication and learning.

Canadian University and College Language pathway – Beginner Level provides students with the skills necessary to enter Canadian University and College Language Pathway – Elementary Level.

Canadian University and College Language Pathway – Upper Intermediate Level
GENERAL COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Canadian University and College Language Pathway – Pre-Advanced Level is the second course in the University pathway and provides students with appropriate skills in sentence construction, grammar, the writing process, reading comprehension, vocabulary building, effective listening and oral presentations. This course can be used to enter other required English courses or to satisfy personal goals.
Program Information:
This course can be used as the English prerequisite for Canadian University and College Language Pathway – Advanced Level. This course can be used as the language requirement for many programs.

Canadian University and College Language Pathway – Pre-Advanced Level
GENERAL COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Canadian University and College Language Pathway –Advanced Level focuses on the following core skills: reading, comprehension, vocabulary development, study skills, literary appreciation and analysis, and writing. Through literature, research and analysis and class discussions, students broaden their knowledge of society. This is the third component of the University pathway.
